Description
Raito Souda is a character in the anime series Digimon Beatbreak, portrayed as a teenage boy with fair skin, orange eyes, and spiky dark blue hair. He is introduced as a former member of the organization known as Tactics, where he served as a Cleaner and held self-proclaimed leadership over the elite Team 7, a unit described as the youngest and most perfectionist within the group. During the Tactics arc, he is presented as one of the main antagonists before his later reformation. His personality is marked by a violent and volatile temper, shown in an incident where he aggressively lashes out at a man who bumps into him and dirties his uniform, and his conduct reflects the perfectionist ideals prized by Tactics. His motivations are tied to his role within the organization, as his team operates under the direct supervision of Seraphy Naito and answers to the higher authority of Klay Arslan. In the story, Raito serves as a significant opponent, chiefly through his standing as the arch rival of Tomoro Tenma, and he plays a key part in the events of the Tactics arc. His most important relationship is with his partner Digimon, Monodramon, a small dragon Digimon with bat-like wings attached to its hands that is unable to fly; Monodramon's signature move is Crack Bite, while its special move is Beat Knuckle, and it has a liking for aeroplanes and a dislike of ghosts. Across the narrative, Raito develops from an antagonist aligned with Tactics into a reformed figure who moves away from his former role. His notable abilities are expressed through his partnership with Monodramon, whose combat techniques he employs in battle.
