Description
Toru Muhyo stands 128 cm tall, distinguished by his dark green spiky hair and blue eyes, often clad in a cape and cravat. Born January 23rd (Aquarius), he is the youngest graduate of Magical Law School and a prodigious magical law executor. He dislikes vegetables and sun exposure interfering with sleep, preferring meat despite budget constraints. His enjoyments include reading "Jabin" manga and watching "Gyakugire Detective," while his notable skill is sleeping, necessitated by frequent exhaustion from his abilities.

Muhyo attended school alongside childhood friends Yoichi Himukai and Soratsugu Madoka (later Enchu). His exceptional talent fueled Enchu's jealousy, contributing to Enchu's turn to forbidden magic. Muhyo founded his supernatural investigation bureau, deliberately selecting honest, selfless Jiro "Roji" Kusano as his assistant after recognizing Roji's latent potential during a ghost attack. Their partnership operates under strict bureau rules: prohibiting post-case client meetings, restricting access to magical law books, and limiting client contact solely for new cases.

As an executor, Muhyo judges and sentences spirits harming humans. He wields the Magical Law Book to cite violations, summoning envoys for punishment. His signature technique invokes high-level envoys like Beelzebub’s Treasure Chest, Hades’ Banquet, or Satan’s Shadow, escalating to the perilous Hades’ Advent for severe cases—a process exhausting his spiritual energy and leaving him comatose for three days. He employs magical clauses including Silver Armor for defense, Silver Curtain for invisibility, and Anesthetic Needles to induce sleep. Muhyo commands envoys and halts punishments using the underworld's language.

His personality blends blunt pragmatism with deep compassion. He delivers judgments with detached efficiency, refusing to soften harsh truths, yet shows leniency to repentant spirits and intervenes to protect others. Though outwardly aloof toward Roji, he relies on their partnership, acknowledging Roji's vital role. Muhyo's sense of justice drives him, seeking redemption rather than vengeance for Enchu after conflict. He maintains stoicism under pressure, exemplified during the Arcanum prison incident where he coordinated multiple executors to banish the spirit Sophie.

Across his experiences, Muhyo evolves from a strictly by-the-book executor to one valuing nuanced resolutions. He reconciles with Enchu's trauma and accepts Roji's growth. His unwavering dedication to magical law remains, but he increasingly integrates empathy into judgments, balancing the law's rigidity with contextual forgiveness.
