Description
Azusa Shiratori is a character from Kolhotz High School, where she forms the renowned martial arts figure skating duo known as the Golden Pair alongside her partner, Mikado Sanzenin. She is a master of "Anything Goes Martial Arts Figure Skating," a unique and fictional discipline that blends athletic performance with combat. Her background is that of a highly skilled competitor, but her personality is marked by a profound childishness, often behaving like a girl half her age.

The most defining aspect of Azusa's personality is a compulsive habit of taking things that do not belong to her. She is not a malicious thief; rather, she acts on a whimsical impulse to claim any item she deems cute. After taking an object, she invariably gives it a charming French-sounding name. This behavior is the primary driver of her role in the story, as she first appears after kidnapping Akane Tendo's pet pig, P-chan, instantly renaming him "Charlotte". This act of theft leads to the Charlotte Cup, a competition held to determine the pig's rightful owner.

Despite her immaturity and kleptomania, Azusa is a formidable fighter. Her skills are demonstrated when she and Mikado effortlessly defeat one hundred ice hockey players in under ten seconds. Her fighting style relies entirely on her skating ability, using the ice as a platform for coordinated attacks with her partner. One of their signature techniques is a combination move that involves grabbing the legs of the male opponent, allowing Mikado to spin them violently, forcing the opposing pair to break their hold on each other.

Azusa's most significant relationship is with her skating partner, Mikado Sanzenin. While they are an unbeatable team in competition, their personal relationship is defined by teeth-clenched teamwork and mutual irritation. Azusa shows little loyalty to him, and in moments of frustration, such as when she wants to keep a stolen blanket, she will beat him without hesitation. Her relationship with other characters is defined by her acquisitive nature; she sees Ryoga Hibiki primarily as her lost pet Charlotte and has little interest in anything else that is not immediately appealing to her childish sensibilities. Her motivations are simple and consistent: to acquire and possess anything she finds cute. She does not undergo significant personal development, remaining a static character driven by her impulsive desires and her unparalleled ability on the ice.
