Description
Emma Green is a 19-year-old professional racing driver from the United Kingdom who enters the MFG competition during its fourth round. She shares a deep history with the series protagonist, Kanata Katagiri, having been his classmate at the prestigious Royal Donington Park Racing School, where both were students under the legendary instructor Takumi Fujiwara. In her graduation exam at the school, she secured third place, demonstrating her talent and skill from an early age. Following her studies, she embarked on a professional career, competing in the competitive environment of the British Touring Car Championship.

Driving a distinctive British Racing Green Aston Martin V8 Vantage with the car number 624, Emma is a stoic and fiercely competitive driver who is confident in her abilities on the track. Her arrival in Japan is not merely to participate in MFG but is driven by a deep personal connection to Kanata. She has been in love with him since their school days, and his sudden decision to turn down professional team offers to pursue racing in Japan left a significant impact on her. She views his participation in MFG as a waste of his considerable talent and desires to convince him to leave the series to return to the world of professional racing in Europe.

Her motivations are a complex blend of professional concern and personal longing. She wants to conquer Kanata’s heart while simultaneously separating him from his blossoming relationship with Ren Saionji, whom Emma views as a rival for his affection. This personal agenda manifests in her actions off the track, where she has publicly and falsely claimed that Kanata is her ex-lover, a tactic used to create controversy and drive a wedge between him and those close to him. She also does not speak Japanese at all, which adds to her foreign presence within the series.

In the story, Emma serves as a new rival and a catalyst for tension, both on the asphalt and in the interpersonal dynamics of the main cast. Her debut immediately impacts Kanata, as she confronts him for abandoning his promising career in the United Kingdom. Her presence directly challenges Kanata's choices and forces him to reflect on his path, while also creating a direct romantic rivalry with Ren. On the track, she is a formidable opponent; her performance in the qualifiers quickly signals her talents to the world, and during the Seaside Double Lane race, she demonstrates the skills of a professional touring car driver, pushing her Aston Martin to its limits against Japan's best. Her mechanic, Hayato, accompanies her and supports her racing efforts in MFG.
