Description
Pikariine is a fairy and the queen of KirakiLand, the magical world connected to the setting of the anime You and Idol Precure♪. She is a yellow fairy with long blonde hair and a golden tiara adorned with a ribbon and heart, and she carries herself with the presence expected of a sovereign.

In terms of background, Pikariine originally ruled over the fairies of KirakiLand. When the Chokkiri Gang, led by the villain Darkine, invaded and plunged the land into darkness, Pikariine was sealed inside a crystal along with many of her fairy subjects. Unlike most of the others, she retained the ability to communicate with people even while imprisoned. Using this power, she entrusted the three Idol Heart Brooches to the fairy Prirun, who had miraculously escaped being sealed, and sent her to search for the legendary saviors known as the Idol Precure.

Personality-wise, Pikariine is generally calm, gentle, and composed, with a strong sense of pride and dignity fitting her station. She also has a pronounced desire for self-display: when announcing herself, she draws out her name with heavy emphasis and accompanies it with a dazzling flash of light, making her introductions grand and theatrical. At the same time, she is strict about rules and tradition. When Prirun recorded and posted footage of the newly transformed Cure Idol without permission, Pikariine scolded her for violating a long-standing prohibition and imposed a punishment she called the Morumosa punishment, giving the fairy an afro hairstyle until she learned her lesson.

Pikariine's central motivation is to restore the light of KirakiLand and prevent the darkness of the Chokkiri Gang from spreading into the human world. She believes that the legendary Idol Precure are the key to saving both worlds, and she supports them with the limited means available to her while trapped in her crystal prison.

In the story, Pikariine serves as a guiding and advisory figure rather than a frontline fighter. She communicates telepathically with Prirun and can appear as a holographic projection when Prirun places the white Kirarun Ribbon into an Idol Heart Brooch, an event announced by an assertive ringtone proclaiming that the queen is calling. Through this method, she meets the protagonist Uta Sakura shortly after the girl transforms into Cure Idol, explains the crisis facing KirakiLand, and cautions the Cures to keep their true identities hidden. She also provides knowledge about important relics of her world, including the Heart Kirari Rock and the Big Kirakira Ribbon, and warns about the heavy costs and sacrifices associated with such powers.

Her key relationships include Prirun, whom she trusts as her messenger and later praises as a savior; Meloron, Prirun's companion, to whom she also gives instructions and warnings; and the three main Precure, Uta Sakura, Nana Aokaze, and Kokoro Shigure, whom she regards with hope and respect. The fairy Tanakan also acts as a link between KirakiLand and the human world, helping coordinate the heroes' activities. Her relationship with the antagonists is defined by conflict, since Darkine's invasion is the direct cause of her imprisonment.

Over the course of the story, Pikariine begins as a powerless figure sealed within a crystal, able to offer only guidance and communication. As the Idol Precure and their allies work to restore KirakiLand and gather the needed ribbons, the land is gradually purified, and Pikariine finally awakens from her seal. Upon gaining her freedom, she acknowledges the heroes' efforts and praises Prirun and Meloron for their decisive roles in the victory.

Her notable abilities are primarily supportive. She can communicate telepathically with others even while sealed, project a holographic image of herself through the Idol Heart Brooches, and pass on important items and knowledge to the fairies and the Cures. As queen, she also holds the authority to guide her people and, once freed, resumes her position governing KirakiLand.
