Description
Mariabelle is the primary female lead of the series Yandere Dark Elf: She Chased Me All the Way From Another World! She is a dark elf who originally came from a fantasy world where elves were persecuted and oppressed by humans. As a result, she developed a deep distrust and hatred for humans. During her time adventuring in that world, she met Hinata Sunohara, a human hero who had been summoned from Earth to defeat the Demon Lord. Mariabelle was a member of his party, serving as a powerful sorceress. Hinata's sincere kindness and willingness to protect her, despite his human heritage, caused her feelings to shift dramatically. She fell deeply in love with him.

After the Demon Lord was defeated, Hinata was sent back to Earth. Approximately one month later, Mariabelle used magic to teleport into his apartment, declaring that she wanted to be with him forever. She is fiercely possessive and obsessively devoted to Hinata, often becoming jealous and aggressive toward any other girl who shows interest in him, such as his classmate Sakura Mochida. Despite her intense and sometimes violent tendencies, she is also a serious and proud individual who is determined to achieve her goals. She struggles to understand human society but is motivated by her love for Hinata to learn and adapt diligently.

Mariabelle is a skilled sorceress, able to cast powerful magic from her original world. She also has a model-like physique, with very long black hair, yellow eyes, and pointed elf ears. In the story, she takes on the role of the central love interest and the driving force behind the romantic comedy conflict, as Hinata must navigate her overbearing affection while she adjusts to life on Earth. Her key relationships include Hinata, whom she loves intensely; Sakura, whom she views as a romantic rival; and her former fellow party members Mei and Cecile, who occasionally interact with her in the human world. Over the course of the series, Mariabelle experiences some character development as she learns more about human customs and makes an effort to control her more extreme impulses, though her possessive nature remains a core part of her personality.
