Minami Takahashi is a Japanese voice actress born on December 20, 1990, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society (Haikyō). She began her career in 2011 after graduating from the 38th class of the Haikyō Voice Actors Studio. In December 2020, she changed her stage name from her birth name, Minami Takahashi (written as 高橋未奈美), to the phonetically identical 髙橋ミナミ.

Takahashi's early career consisted of minor roles in anime series such as The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, Tari Tari, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Her first major recurring role came in 2012 with the long-running idol franchise Aikatsu!, where she voiced Sora Kazesawa, a part she would reprise in subsequent Aikatsu! installments.

Her breakthrough arrived in the mid-2010s with several prominent roles. In 2014, she voiced Midoriko in the psychological series Selector Infected WIXOSS. A defining role came in 2015 when she was cast as the shy but skilled culinary student Megumi Tadokoro in the popular anime Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma. She continued to voice this character across multiple seasons and OVAs of the franchise. The same year, she also began voicing Tione Hiryute in the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? series.

The following years saw her in a variety of leading and supporting roles. In 2016, she voiced the protagonist Cocona in the surreal adventure series Flip Flappers. In 2017, she took on two notable characters: the dragon deity Quetzalcoatl, known as Lucoa, in the beloved comedy Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, and the light novel author Elf Yamada in Eromanga Sensei. Her voice work also extended to game adaptations, such as the horse girl El Condor Pasa in the Uma Musume Pretty Derby franchise starting in 2018.

Takahashi has continued to build an extensive filmography with a wide range of characters across genres. In 2019, she voiced the energetic bunny-eared warrior Shea Haulia in Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest and the demon Lilith in The Demon Girl Next Door. Her roles in the early 2020s include the demon operative Grimm in Combatants Will Be Dispatched! (2021), Ayami Sasaki in Komi Can't Communicate (2021), Kayo Ennoshita in Life Lessons with Uramichi-Oniisan (2021), and the battleship Baltimore in Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! (2021). In 2022, she appeared as Kanoko Matsukaze in Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness, Seira in RPG Real Estate, Rachel in the game adaptation Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal, and Sachi Takamiya in More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers. She was also cast as Asana Mutsuba in Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens, a role she reprised in its sequel, Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!.

Takahashi's career includes not only anime but also video games, where she is known for roles such as Konomi Baba in The Idolmaster Million Live! and Peri in Fire Emblem Fates. She also performs theme songs for series she stars in, including Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, Combatants Will Be Dispatched!, and the film Kase-san and Morning Glories.

In addition to her voice work, Takahashi is known to have conversational proficiency in English and German, and her hobbies include rhythmic gymnastics. In October 2022, she announced a temporary hiatus from work to receive treatment for a throat condition but returned to activity by the end of that same month. She continues to be active in the industry, with recent major roles including Nana Aokaze / Cure Wink in the 2025 Pretty Cure series, You and Idol Pretty Cure, and Sildonia in the 2025 anime Tsuyokute New Saga.
