Rina, operating under the alias George, enters the scene as a student researching the Gokudolls idol group, a cover masking deep underworld ties. Born in New York's slums, George was a member of the Italian mafia group God Money. After a significant operational error, superiors dispatched George to Japan under Inugane clan oversight, tasked with studying the Gokudolls' management and operations.

As both assignment and punishment, George underwent comprehensive gender reassignment surgery, physically transforming into Rina, mirroring the procedure endured by the Gokudolls members though without their idol training. Following the surgery and arrival in Japan, Rina was placed within the Gokudolls environment under Inugane's control. The research mission was abruptly terminated, stranding Rina with Inugane and severing support from the original organization.

Rina's full integration into the idol group coincided with the Gokudolls acquiring two new members: Rina, representing the foreign yakuza-turned-idol element, and Yui, an ambitious young woman unaware of the group's origins. This expansion thrust Rina directly into active idol duties alongside the core trio.
