Description
Rachel, the shy and taciturn 16-year-old daughter of Mark and Jennifer in Domina, appears outwardly unfriendly due to her reluctance to speak. Mark dotes on her yet treats her as a child, fueling frustration as he remains oblivious to her needs—evident in her sarcastic remarks about the childish room decor he selected. Despite resenting his overbearing nature, she harbors deep love for him, demonstrated when she secretly modifies their Teapo into a functional spaceship to fulfill Mark’s childhood space-travel dream, concealing her technical ingenuity beneath her quiet exterior.

Her pivotal development begins when Mark invites her on a hiking trip; she declines, suggesting Jennifer go instead while she minds the shop, then vanishes from Domina. Teapo later reveals Rachel traveled to Geo’s Academy of Magic, participating in a ritual that swapped her body with a green Wiggly and transformed her consciousness into a blue Jiggly, driven by frustration over Mark’s unrealistic expectations.

Upon returning, Mark senses deception and accuses her physical form (the green Wiggly) of being an impostor. Rachel—in the Wiggly’s body—confesses the swap was an escape from his suffocating perception, clarifying that the telepathic blue Jiggly is her true consciousness. When Teapo exposes her gunpowder purchase, implying house destruction, Jennifer deduces the materials were for constructing a space rocket based on Mark and Rachel’s old plans. Rachel confirms this, declaring her intent to become a star in outer space.

The quest concludes with Rachel’s consciousness (as the blue Jiggly) communicating directly to Mark: she was always beside him, yet he saw only an idealized version. Her physical form departs for space, while her consciousness vows future visits once Mark accepts her true self. This sacrifice of her human form achieves both their dreams, resolves her arc through embraced agency, and underscores their theme of misunderstood love.
