Description
Shea Haulia, daughter of Haulia tribe chief Cam Haulia, possesses a unique future-sight ability most potent when her life is threatened. This ability set her apart from other rabbitmen and caused her tribe's exile after its discovery. Following devastating attacks by imperial soldiers and monsters, a vision of Hajime Nagumo and Yue saving her tribe drove her to seek them near the Orcus Great Labyrinth. Overcoming initial distrust, she secured their aid by offering forest guidance. After Hajime rescued her tribe, she permanently joined his party.
Shea exhibits uncommon rabbitman traits: pale blue hair, azure eyes, rabbit ears, and a tail. Her physical appearance includes a large chest and gallant figure. Her typical attire consists of a sleeveless blue bikini armor top, a handmade coat, a blue miniskirt, white hot pants, and sturdy boots. To avoid discrimination in human towns, she initially wore a slave collar disguised as Hajime's slave; this was later transformed into a decorative choker with blue and white ornaments and a luminous cross crafted from Hajime's Divinity Stone.
Initially noisy, overly optimistic, self-centered, and a crybaby, she earned epithets like "worthless rabbit" or "annoying rabbit" from Hajime and Yue due to her relentless pursuit of Hajime. This included aggressive flirtation, attempts to initiate non-consensual encounters, and voyeurism. Over time, she matured into a calmer, more confident individual while retaining cheerfulness. She developed a battle-sadistic streak and extreme violent tendencies when angered, requiring Hajime and other party members to restrain her. Her exceptional determination enabled her to overcome psychological trials in labyrinths like the Frost Cavern of Schnee. After Hajime's acceptance, she became more self-aware of public displays of affection but also more assertive in mediating group conflicts.
Her abilities stem from unique heritage and rigorous training. As an Atavist, she manipulates mana—rare for beastmen—and possesses foresight granting glimpses of imminent danger. Innate rabbitman traits grant enhanced hearing, speed, and stealth, heightened in her case. Training with Yue and Hajime unlocked immense strength, durability, and endurance through Body Strengthening magic, enabling feats like restraining Hajime and catching bullets. Her combat prowess centers on Drucken, Hajime's multi-functional war hammer capable of firing projectiles. She mastered hand-to-hand combat, marksmanship, and swordsmanship. Later, merging mana with energy from the Star Spirit World exponentially amplified her strength and speed, though at great physical cost.
Her relationship with Hajime evolved from initial annoyance to deep mutual respect and love. She openly pursued him despite his relationship with Yue, becoming his second fiancée and later wife. Her bond with Yue grew sisterly, with Yue providing combat mentorship and emotional support. Shea transformed her tribe from pacifistic refugees into a formidable warrior group trained by Hajime, elevating beastmen's status. She harbors intense hostility toward threats to loved ones, including the antagonist Ehit, demon general Freid Bagwa, and Hajime's betrayer Daisuke Hiyama. Her combat contributions include decimating Freid's army, killing the apostle Mikhail, and defeating Hearst and allies during the final conflict.
After relocating to Earth, she engaged in school and community activities, developed a passion for speed, and frequently used the magical motorcycle "Steiff." Her tribe's cultural shift persisted, operating as skilled assassins when necessary. Trivia includes her "Bug Rabbit" nickname (reflecting improbable growth), popularity poll rankings, and inspirations for her character design and weapon.
