Jana Dunja Gries is a German voice actress known for her extensive work in dubbing anime series and video games for the German-speaking market. Born on November 15, 1998, in Waldbröl, Germany, her interest in languages and linguistics led her to pursue a career in voice acting, a field in which she has been active since at least 2014. To deepen her understanding of the mechanics of speech, she studied linguistics and received vocal training from Claudia Maria Brinker and Lilian Wilfart.

Gries has lent her voice to a wide array of characters across numerous popular anime franchises. Her roles are diverse, ranging from young, energetic characters to more serious and fantastical roles. Some of her most recognized performances include Shea Haulia in Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest, Komachi Hikigaya in My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, and the role of Eri in the long-running series My Hero Academia. She also voiced the protagonist Fina in Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, Sophia Ascart in My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, and Syrup in BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense.. Her film work includes the role of Hamamoto in the feature Penguin Highway.
