Description
Chacha is a character from the anime Dokyū Hentai HxEros. She is a Kiseichuu, the alien species that serves as the primary antagonist of the series, but her role is far more complex than that of a simple enemy. Chacha is the eldest daughter of the Queen of the Kiseichuu, granting her the status of a princess. However, she is an unusual member of her species. She was born as a rare mutation that occurs once every thousand years, a being referred to as a cursed child. This mutation is the reason for her most defining physical trait: unlike the more monstrous appearances of her kin, Chacha looks remarkably similar to a human, though she retains cat-like features, including a tail and feline eyes. Her vulnerability to catnip further sets her apart from other Kiseichuu and aligns her more closely with earthly felines.
Despite her royal lineage, Chacha’s existence was one of sorrow and imprisonment. Because of her mutation, her own mother despised and feared her, keeping her confined to a room deep inside the Kiseichuu mothership. In stark contrast to the parasitic nature of the Kiseichuu, who seek only to drain H-energy from humans, Chacha is a kind, gentle, and helpful individual. She is driven by a strong desire to put a stop to the invasion of Earth, acting against the core mission of her own species. Her isolation, however, has left her with a poor understanding of human customs and social norms, which often leads to unintentionally awkward or flirtatious interactions that she does not fully comprehend.
Chacha’s role in the story begins when Kirara Hoshino, a member of the Earth’s defensive team HxEROS, is captured by the Kiseichuu. While wandering through the alien mothership, Kirara discovers Chacha in her prison. Seeing a chance for freedom and to fulfill her goal of ending the conflict, Chacha forms an alliance with Kirara. Together, they plan their escape, and when Retto Enjou and the rest of the HxEROS team arrive for a rescue mission, they meet Chacha. She soon becomes an unlikely ally, joining the team and siding with humanity against her own people. In a pivotal confrontation with her mother, the Queen, Chacha formally declares her separation from the Kiseichuu, solidifying her new identity as a member of the team, akin to one of its members.
Her key relationships develop primarily with the two main protagonists. She shares a strong bond with Kirara, who was the first to treat her with kindness and help her gain her freedom. Chacha is very loyal to Kirara and is eager to assist her, even in unusual ways, such as helping her replenish her H-energy by taking on a different form.
