Abandoned as monster bait in the Forest of Gaia at age five during a caravan attack, the twins survived alone until Takumi Kayano discovered them malnourished, nonverbal, and distressed. He used his Appraise skill to assess them, cleansed them with Wash and Heal spells, nourished them, provided new clothes, and named them Alan and Elena.
