Description
Elena is the younger fraternal twin of Alan, born to the Water God Wyndell and a human Etelldian woman who died during childbirth from the strain of delivering demi-gods. Sold as infants to a slave trader by a landlord, their latent divine powers later shattered their crib. This led to years of confinement in a dark basement. Abandoned as monster bait in the Forest of Gaia at age five during a caravan attack, the twins survived alone until Takumi Kayano discovered them malnourished, nonverbal, and distressed. He used his Appraise skill to assess them, cleansed them with Wash and Heal spells, nourished them, provided new clothes, and named them Alan and Elena.

Her demeanor shifted dramatically after receiving care. Initially nonverbal and fearful, Elena became expressive and shy, often hiding behind Takumi or Alan. She developed a patient, empathetic nature, offering food or comfort to those seeming stressed. Fascinated by fashion and aesthetics, she requests cute clothing and expresses a desire to learn tailoring, diverging from Takumi's expectation of adventuring. Elena enjoys reading fairy tales and engages in imaginative play like pretending to be a princess, unaware of her divine heritage. Typically cautious, she displays courage when Alan shows bravery or no danger is present. She finds combat relaxing and enjoyable, giggling while defeating monsters alongside her brother.

Physically, Elena inherited bright amber eyes and blue hair from her divine father. After rescue, she wears a black skirt, a blue seifuku-style shirt with white and orange outlines, and ankle-length orange-brown boots, her hair tied in braids with black ribbons. Her combat capabilities include innate Water Magic proficiency, Martial Arts, Throw, Evade, Swimming, and Jumping skills. She possesses Perception, detecting malicious entities through intent, and Resistance to Status Effects. These allow her to effortlessly defeat powerful monsters despite her youth, often coordinating attacks with Alan as a synchronized team.

Under Takumi's guardianship, Elena developed emerging individuality distinct from Alan, including unique interests like tailoring. She transitioned from nonverbal trauma responses to verbal communication, though she sometimes mirrors Alan's phrases or speaks in unison. Her empathy expanded noticeably, proactively comforting others. While initially reliant on Alan for emotional support, she cultivated self-assurance in safe environments and during combat, reflecting her growing trust in Takumi as a parental figure and stabilizing presence.
