Description
Natsuo Fujii, a high school student, becomes romantically involved with his teacher, Hina Tachibana, after a chance encounter at a mixer. Their relationship remains secret due to the societal and professional implications of a student-teacher romance. Meanwhile, Natsuo’s father remarries, and he discovers that his new stepsisters are Hina and her younger sister, Rui Tachibana. This unexpected familial connection complicates the already delicate dynamics between the characters.
Rui, who initially appears cold and distant, begins to develop feelings for Natsuo after they grow closer while living under the same roof. Despite Natsuo’s lingering feelings for Hina, he and Rui eventually enter into a romantic relationship, further entangling the emotional conflicts within the household. Hina, struggling with her own unresolved feelings for Natsuo, attempts to distance herself to avoid causing further complications, but her efforts are often undermined by her lingering attachment.
The narrative explores themes of love, jealousy, and the complexities of relationships, as the characters navigate their feelings and the consequences of their actions. Natsuo’s aspirations as a writer add another layer to the story, as his personal experiences and relationships heavily influence his creative work. The series delves into the challenges of balancing personal desires with societal expectations, particularly in the context of taboo relationships and familial bonds.
As the story progresses, the relationships between Natsuo, Hina, and Rui undergo significant shifts, with moments of reconciliation, heartbreak, and self-discovery. The characters are forced to confront their emotions and make difficult decisions that impact not only their own lives but also the lives of those around them. The series concludes with a resolution that ties together the various threads of the narrative, offering closure to the central romantic conflicts while leaving room for reflection on the nature of love and relationships.
