Taku Yashiro is a Japanese voice actor born on January 6, 1993, in Iwate Prefecture, Japan. He is 176 cm tall and affiliated with the talent agency VIMS. His interest in voice acting began in high school after watching the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion, which led him to enroll in the Japan Narration Actor Institute. He balanced his studies there with college courses during the week and part-time work on weekends. Upon completing the program, he passed an in-house audition to begin his professional career.

Yashiro made his debut in 2013, taking on minor roles in series such as Silver Spoon. His first leading role came in 2016 as Naoto Azuma, also known as Tiger Mask, in Tiger Mask W. In 2018, his performance was recognized with the Best Rookie Actor Award at the 12th Seiyu Awards, an annual ceremony honoring voice actors.

Throughout his career, Yashiro has built an extensive filmography, often portraying young and good-looking male characters. He has taken on lead roles in a wide variety of series. These include Natsuo Fujii in Domestic Girlfriend, Michio Kaga in Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World, Friede in Pokémon Horizons: The Series, Tsugaru Shinuchi in Undead Girl Murder Farce, and Sanosuke Sagara in the 2023 adaptation of Rurouni Kenshin. He also voices Kakeru Jūōin in the King of Prism franchise.

Notable examples include Kōichi Shindō in Horimiya, Tsubasa Tanuma (often credited as Kashiwagi's boyfriend) in Kaguya-sama: Love is War, Vulcan Joseph in Fire Force, Gugu in To Your Eternity, Iskahn in Sword Art Online: Alicization, Hirokazu Arai in Chainsaw Man, and Keiji Togashi in Aoashi. He also provides the voice of Rick Flag in the series Suicide Squad ISEKAI.

Beyond anime, Yashiro is active in voice acting for video games and is involved in music. He is a member of several voice actor idol units related to the multimedia franchises he works in. These include 315 ALLSTARS and its subunit DRAMATIC STARS from The iDOLM@STER SideM, where he plays the character Tsubasa Kashiwagi. He was also a member of KiLLER KiNG from the B-PROJECT project and is part of SePTENTRION from the King of Prism franchise. His video game roles include Terry in Rune Factory 5 and the English-localized voice of Ephraim in Fire Emblem Heroes.
