TV-Series
Description
Crocell Keroli is a student at Babyls Demon School and a member of the Misfit Class, the same class as the protagonist Iruma Suzuki. She is the eldest daughter of the prestigious Crocell family, a lineage known for its cold and unemotional demeanor. Crocell has a pale complexion and is typically seen wearing a pair of large, round spectacles that are specially designed to suppress her natural charm and beauty, helping her blend into the background. Without these glasses, she is exceptionally attractive. She is sixteen years old, stands at 155 centimeters tall, and her birthday is November 4th.

Crocell's public personality is quiet, reserved, and polite, which is a facade she maintains to protect a significant secret. In reality, she is the alter ego of Kuromu, one of the most popular and celebrated idols, known as an Akudol, in the Netherworld. While she appears shy and subdued in her daily school life, Crocell is fiercely dedicated, ambitious, and highly professional when it comes to her idol career. She is also an enormous enthusiast of idol culture, often becoming excited and animated when discussing the topic. This passion can lead her to enthusiastically recruit others for idol activities, including persuading her male classmates to cross-dress and perform as backup dancers.

Growing up in the emotionally distant Crocell family, she was constantly compared to her more magically powerful siblings, which severely damaged her self-esteem. After secretly watching an Akudol concert video shown to her by her nanny, she became captivated by the world of idols and saw it as a way to shine and prove her worth outside of her family's traditional expectations. Her primary motivation is to surpass her family's expectations and achieve recognition through her own efforts as an idol, specifically aiming to rank higher than her mother within the demon ranking system. Despite believing her family is indifferent to her success, they are secretly proud and supportive; her mother, for instance, is too emotionally overwhelmed to attend her concerts in person.

In the story, Crocell leads a double life, hiding her identity as Kuromu from most of her peers and teachers. Her role becomes more central when her secret is discovered by Iruma Suzuki, who notices her secret due to his human perception not being affected by her disguise glasses. Initially, she feels strong jealousy towards Iruma for effortlessly drawing attention and praise that she works so hard to achieve. However, after he helps her during a critical moment before a live performance, her feelings evolve into a complex mixture of rivalry, gratitude, and deep-seated trust. Over time, she accepts him as a trustworthy confidant who keeps her secret, and she often involves him and classmate Lied Shax in her idol projects.

Crocell has close, supportive relationships with other female students in her class and enjoys participating in girls' gatherings. Her younger sister, Chima, is a devoted fan of both her sister and her idol persona, providing a source of familial warmth. She is also known to have a somewhat competitive and exasperated dynamic with her classmate Kamui Caim, though they have teamed up effectively during school events.

Throughout the series, Crocell shows significant development. She transitions from a girl who is insecure and envious of others to a confident leader who fully embraces her talents. Her experiences as an idol allow her to develop a commanding "Queen" mode, a powerful charisma that allows her to captivate and command the loyalty of magical beasts and other demons. This ability becomes crucial during events like the Harvest Festival, where she leads a large group of creatures to gather points and earns the title of "Queen".

Crocell's notable abilities stem from her family's inherited magic, known as Ice Surface, which grants her precise control over cold and ice. She can lower the temperature of water in the air to create ice for offense and defense. A significant weakness is her vulnerability to heat; overusing her magic or becoming overly emotional can cause her body temperature to rise, leading to fainting spells. Beyond her magical abilities, she is an exceptionally talented summoner. As a first-year student, she managed to form contracts with two powerful magical beasts simultaneously: the Blizzard Wolf and the Snow King Fox, a feat considered very rare. Her natural allure and the charismatic presence she has cultivated as an idol are so strong that she can dominate the will of other creatures, a skill she uses to command them as a "queen".
