As the inaugural Healing Animal and sovereign ruler of the Healing Garden, she safeguarded its peace until King Byogen's invasion. Though their battle was evenly matched, she was severely weakened, compelling her to dispatch Latte and the Healing Animals—Rabirin, Pegitan, Nyatoran—to Earth for safety. She entrusted them with finding partners. Centuries earlier, she herself partnered with the legendary human warrior Fuu, fighting alongside her as a puppy. Her personality blends grace and benevolence with deep maternal devotion, especially toward Latte, whom she openly indulges. She treasures her bonds with the Healing Animals and holds fond memories of Fuu long after her passing. Her name originates from the Japanese words "teate" (medical treatment) and "inu" (dog). Sensing Latte's endangerment, she crawled weakly to a statue resembling Fuu and prayed tearfully. This act summoned a spirit embodying the statue's form, who manifested as Cure Earth and rescued Latte. Later, she detected new threats from the Byogens despite having approved the Cures' power-ups. During the conflict's climax, she aided the Cures against Neo King Byogen. Alongside veteran Healing Animals, she deflected his assaults and ensnared him within a protective dome, though he shattered it. Absorbed alongside the Cures, she was freed by the global collective will. She later expressed surprise at receiving encouragement from humans. Post-victory, she invited the Cures to the Healing Garden and reconciled with Saruro, acknowledging human imperfections while advocating for a shared future.
