Description
Jezzi is a character from the anime Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX. He is a man in his twenties with a distinctive appearance, characterized by a bob haircut, thick black-rimmed glasses, and notably full lips.

As a member of the Kaneban Co., Ltd. Junk Shop, Jezzi works alongside his colleagues in a rough-and-tumble environment that involves salvaging and repairing scrap. He is also a pilot for a clan battle team known as the Pommeranians, a name that reflects his deep personal affection for his pet, a black Pomeranian dog that accompanies him.

In terms of personality, Jezzi initially comes across as hot-headed and blunt, with a temperament that can lead to confrontational outbursts. His manner of speaking is direct and often perceived as rude. This rough exterior, however, conceals a more honest and caring nature. He possesses a strong sense of right and wrong and is particularly protective of those he considers to be in vulnerable situations. This is most evident in his reaction to the high school student Amate Yuzuriha, known as Machu, being drawn into the illegal and life-threatening world of Clan Battles. Jezzi strongly opposes her involvement, expressing serious concerns about the mortal dangers she faces.

His role in the story is primarily as a supporting member of the Pommeranians team. Early on, he pilots a modified, older-model Zaku mobile suit in the brutal clan battles. Following the arrival of more powerful machines like the GQuuuuuuX and the MS-α Red Gundam, Jezzi frequently steps back from a frontline combat role to provide support for his teammates from the sidelines. While his exact piloting skills remain somewhat obscured by this shift to a support position, he is shown to be a capable and reliable member of the crew.

Jezzi's key relationships are central to his character. His bond with his black Pomeranian is his most prominent and tender connection; he shows a soft, vulnerable side when caring for the dog, ensuring it is well-groomed and vaccinated. This pet is the emotional anchor that reveals his gentleness. His relationship with the newer team members, particularly Machu, evolves over time. Although he begins with profound skepticism and worry about her safety, this concern eventually transforms into a genuine, protective care for her as a teammate and friend. He also develops a notable respect for the pilot of the Red Gundam, viewing him as a hero whose skill brings valuable victories to their team.

Throughout the narrative, Jezzi experiences subtle development. His initial, vehement opposition to involving an outsider in their dangerous lifestyle softens as he comes to understand Machu's strength and determination. He finds his place within the changing dynamics of the team, accepting a supporting role to contribute to the group's success rather than seeking personal glory on the front lines. The contrast between his abrasive public persona and the kindness he shows his dog and, eventually, his fellow pilots, forms the core of his character arc, demonstrating that his loyalty and capacity for care run much deeper than his harsh words would suggest.
