A thin membrane between her limbs allows her to glide through the air like a flying squirrel, and she has a natural affinity for wind magic, which she uses to assist with travel, scouting, and combat. In the original web novel, she becomes noticeably overweight by the end because of constant snacking and her habit of riding on Arc's head instead of moving on her own, and she loses the ability to fly with her wind magic. Her companions then realize how much they have spoiled her and work to help her regain her former shape through a strict diet and training regimen, much to her displeasure. In terms of gender, Ponta is identified as female in the web novel and the anime adaptation, while the light novels leave the matter ambiguous.
