Description
Gina is a twenty-one-year-old woman from Earth who serves as a space traffic controller, a profession that gives her considerable knowledge about star systems and spacecraft. Her most distinctive physical traits are her long purple hair and her heterochromia, with one eye brown and the other light yellow. She stands at 163 centimeters tall. Gina is one of the initial characters encountered from the very first loop and is, along with Jonas, one of only two humans from Earth on the ship.

Gina is defined by a compassionate and self-sacrificing personality. She is described as serious, brave, and possessing a strong will, always doing what she feels she must do without hesitation. Despite this inner strength, she is soft-spoken, more likely to question herself than others, and carries a certain melancholy that makes others want to protect her. Her most prominent trait is her deep-seated hatred for lying and deceiving people. This aversion is so strong that if she is part of the Gnosia, she is prone to confessing her role openly during a debate, preferring elimination over the act of deception. This honesty extends to her private interactions, as she never lies during nighttime events, making her statements a reliable source of information. However, when she is convinced someone is a threat, she can suddenly become quite pointed and direct, showing a surprisingly strong temperament.

Her primary motivation stems from a desire to help others and ensure the ship's safety. She will not hesitate to put herself in danger to save another person. A significant piece of her backstory, revealed in her character notes, is that her mother discarded her own body to become cyberized, an event that provides context for her personal history and the game's broader themes of transhumanism.

In the story, Gina often takes on the role of a quiet observer who can identify inconsistencies but struggles to convince others due to her low charisma. She is frequently eliminated early in a loop, either voted into cold sleep or attacked by the Gnosia, which makes her a character the player often needs to actively protect if they wish to keep her in the game. Her role in specific story events is poignant; for example, in the Allacosia system event, even if she is Gnosia, she will risk her life to go outside the ship and repair damage from an asteroid belt, ultimately saving the crew before drifting off to die alone in space.

Her key relationships are often defined by her interactions with other crew members. She has a notable connection with Stella, as their discussions about the ship's safety can trigger events related to Gina's job. She also has a unique dynamic with the player character, with some events, particularly those involving a confession of feelings, being accessible only if the player is male.

Gina undergoes a significant development in her abilities as the game progresses. Initially, her stats are generally low, with her only strength being slightly above-average intuition. After a certain point in the loops, her intuition dramatically increases, transforming her from a weaker character into one of the most perceptive members of the crew and making her much better at identifying liars. This development is reflected in the acquisition of her skill Don't Be Fooled, which she uses to point out the deceptive patterns of others.

Her core abilities are heavily skewed towards intuition, which eventually becomes the third-highest in the game, surpassed only by Comet and Yuriko. Her other stats, including logic, charm, charisma, performance, and stealth, remain mediocre to low, meaning she is excellent at detecting lies but has poor leadership skills and is ineffective at hiding her own deceptions. As a player ally, her high intuition makes her a reliable partner for exposing enemies, but she remains vulnerable to being voted out due to her quiet demeanor and low charm.
