Description
Kazuomi Hōsen is a first-year student introduced during the second year arc. He is a member of Class 1-D within the Advanced Nurturing High School. Physically, Hōsen is a notably tall and muscular teenager with a rough, intimidating physique, described as looking significantly older than his peers. He has short, spiky hair that is often depicted as strawberry blond or silver-blond with darker roots, along with blue eyes. He typically wears the male school uniform with a black shirt and no tie.
Hōsen is characterized by an extremely selfish and violent nature, driven almost entirely by personal gain and enjoyment. He is arrogant and holds great pride in his own abilities, showing little regard for the well-being of others and no hesitation in making enemies. His behavior is noted as being misogynistic and sadistic, as he has no problem using violence against anyone, including female students. This brutal and aggressive demeanor makes him a volatile and dangerous individual within the school.
His primary motivation appears to be the pursuit of victory and power. When asked about his aspirations, he bluntly stated his goal was to obtain all the points necessary to win, showing a direct and selfish ambition. Upon his introduction, Hōsen quickly establishes himself as a significant antagonist. One of his most notable actions involves attacking Kiyotaka Ayanokōji with a knife after being ordered to make him drop out of the school. During this confrontation, he also physically overpowers second-year students Ken Sudō, a known physical powerhouse, and Suzune Horikita. However, his plan backfires, and he is forced into a cooperative relationship with Ayanokōji to avoid facing expulsion and potential criminal charges. Following this incident, he becomes obsessed with fighting Ayanokōji again.

He later teams up with fellow first-years Tsubasa Nanase and Ichika Amasawa in a concerted effort to have Ayanokōji expelled during the special exam on the uninhabited island.
