Description
Akoya Gero is a seventeen-year-old second-year student at Binan High School, where he serves as both secretary and treasurer of the student council, an organization also known as the Conquest Club. He has long, wavy, pale pink hair that reaches his chest or waist, piercing azure blue eyes, and stands 179 centimeters tall, giving him an androgynous and ethereal appearance. His birthday is April 24th, making his zodiac sign Taurus, and his blood type is B. Akoya possesses an aristocratic poise and a profound narcissism, holding an unwavering appreciation for beauty while despising anything he finds ugly, common, or inelegant. His hobbies include aromatherapy, his favorite food is macarons, and he dislikes nameko mushrooms and sea cucumbers. He often refers to himself with grand titles like "The Holy Angel Akoya" to project an image of purity, a habit born from childhood embarrassment over his surname, which sounds like a frog’s croak and means "to vomit." Within the Conquest Club, Akoya works alongside president Kinshiro Kusatsu and fellow strategist Ibushi Arima under the alien porcupine lord Zundar. He transforms into his battle form, the Pearl Chevalier Perlite, by activating his ring with the call "Conquest!" In this form, he wields a rapier and can create iridescent, spherical pearl-like barriers for defense. He can also combine his strength with Ibushi Arima to perform a collaborative attack called Ultima Adamas, unleashing a radiant pink lance or beam of energy. Initially positioned as an antagonist to the Earth Defense Club, Akoya prefers creating monsters from negative emotions and scheming from the shadows, though his role evolves to include direct frontline combat. He shares a charged rivalry with his classmate Ryuu Zaou, marked by venomous exchanges that gradually develop into competitive camaraderie and occasional teamwork. Akoya displays unwavering loyalty to Kinshiro Kusatsu, becoming fiery and defensive when his leader is slighted, and he can become flustered by praise or kindness, such as from Io Naruko. Despite his vanity and manipulative tendencies, he shows glimpses of vulnerability, tenacity, and protectiveness toward his comrades.
