Description
In the anime Petals of Reincarnation, the character known as A. Hitler is a reincarnation of the infamous German dictator Adolf Hitler. This version is depicted as a young individual of indeterminate gender, possessing a notably youthful and androgynous appearance with light green hair and dark green eyes. A. Hitler is typically seen wearing a black military-style uniform, a matching commander's cap, gloves, and boots, often accompanied by armbands and other regalia that evoke the historical Nazi aesthetic.

A. Hitler is one of the founding members of the Sinners, an organization composed of Returners who are reincarnations of history's most notorious villains and tyrants. This group serves as the primary antagonistic force in the story, opposing the Forest of the Greats, which consists of reincarnations of celebrated geniuses and heroes. As an elite general within the Sinners, A. Hitler is a loyal subordinate to Kouu, the organization's leader, and works closely alongside other infamous figures such as Pol Pot, Julius Caesar, and Charlotte Corday.

In terms of personality, A. Hitler is portrayed as affable, polite, and refined, often engaging with both allies and enemies using sophisticated and calm behavior. However, this courteous exterior can sometimes give way to a smug demeanor, particularly when demonstrating the effectiveness of their unique abilities. Like many other Sinners, A. Hitler is described as lacking empathy for others and possessing innate impulses that drive them to create chaos. Despite this, they exhibit a certain honorable side, choosing to spare opponents they deem worthy or those who have not been fully consumed by their powers, as seen in a battle where they decided not to kill the reincarnations of Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein. Their motivation stems from being rejected and marked for extermination by the Forest of the Greats, leading the Sinners to declare war in retaliation. Their ultimate goal, however, is not simply victory but to use the war as a pretext to unleash their destructive talents to their fullest extent before dying, rather than being consumed by their own powers.

A. Hitler's most significant relationship is with their partner, Pol Pot. Since A. Hitler is physically weak and possesses no direct fighting skills, they rely on Pol Pot for combat. In this partnership, A. Hitler acts as the strategist and intelligence gatherer, using their talents to analyze enemy abilities and devise plans for Pol Pot to execute. Their partnership is described as deadly and effective, with A. Hitler showing no hesitation in avenging or protecting their comrades. The character also holds deep respect and loyalty towards Kouu, the leader of the Sinners, and was visibly enraged when Kouu was severely wounded by the Forest of the Greats. Over the course of the story, A. Hitler and Pol Pot engage and defeat several members of the Forest of the Greats, including Charles Darwin and Bobby Fischer. In their fight against Newton and Einstein, they chose to spare their lives after deeming them uncorrupted by their talents, and subsequently succumbed to their own wounds. Later, A. Hitler is temporarily resurrected alongside Pol Pot by other Returners to participate in a major operation, where they once again utilize their abilities in battle.

A. Hitler's notable abilities are derived from their status as a Returner, manifesting as powerful talents that do not require physical combat. Their primary talent is Mastermind, which allows them to understand the abilities and weaknesses of anyone they observe. They can also place a symbol known as the Hakenkreuz on living creatures, such as small animals, to share senses with them, effectively granting them an omniscient view over a planetary range and allowing them to spy on enemies from afar. Another talent is Enigma, which is used to attract and gather other Sinners to their side. A third ability, Mein Kampf, enables them to take control of the bodies of nearby people who wear an Iron Cross symbol, forcing them to use their abilities to their maximum potential. Due to their lack of physical prowess, A. Hitler compensates entirely with high intelligence and strategic cunning, effectively acting as a mastermind who orchestrates battles from the shadows.
