Description
Isabel Norton is a character from the anime "Secrets of the Silent Witch". She is a 15-year-old girl and the eldest daughter of the noble Kerbeck Count family, a powerful house in the eastern part of the Kingdom of Ridill. Physically, she is described as having orange hair and green eyes. She is often accompanied by her personal maid and guardian, Agatha, and presents herself with the elegance and confidence expected of a high-ranking aristocrat.
On the surface, Isabel adopts the persona of a classic villainess, acting arrogant, harsh, and cruel towards the protagonist, Monica Everett. When the mage Louis Miller requested a way to secretly insert Monica into Serendia Academy for a mission, the Norton family eagerly agreed to help. They took Monica in as a foster daughter under the name "Monica Norton," and Isabel enrolled as a student a year behind her to act as her collaborator.
At the academy, Isabel serves as the student council treasurer. Her primary role in the story is to be Monica's hidden guardian and a key member of her support team. She uses her public persona to manage Monica's social standing, her excellent grades in etiquette and tea ceremony to set an example, and her formidable negotiation skills to navigate politics with teachers and other influential students. Isabel is one of the very few people who knows Monica's true identity as the Silent Witch, and she is also the first to fully accept Monica's real personality, which is cripplingly shy and reclusive, without trying to force her to live up to the heroic legend.
