Description
Lowji Mist is a main character in The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World. He was an orphan who spent time at the Mist orphanage before running away and growing up as a wandering child with no one to care for him. Ostracized for his complete lack of mana, he was forced to fend for himself and strived to become stronger purely for survival. Eventually, he was befriended by Princess Teltina Liz Wagrel Alvarost, who inspired him to rise above his circumstances and become her personal bodyguard.
Lowji is calm and composed by nature yet deeply principled. He is fiercely loyal to Teltina, whose kindness changed his life, and he harbors a strong sense of duty toward protecting her. When Togo Asagaki, the Red Ranger from another world, joins their group and appears to grow close to Teltina, Lowji becomes envious and initially views Togo as a rival who upstages him. This jealousy forms the early tension in their relationship. Over time, however, as they fight together against the Demon King’s forces, Lowji gradually sheds his rivalry and develops true camaraderie with Togo, recognizing his value as an ally.
Lowji is recognized as the kingdom’s greatest swordsman and an S-rank adventurer, capable of defeating high-level monsters and bounty targets on his own. He wields the Royal Sacred Sword, a legendary weapon that absorbs magic and changes form based on the wielder’s will. Because he has no magic of his own, he can wield the sword without suffering any harm from its power.
