TV-Series
Description
Cthoni Andor is a member of the Raiders, serving on their front line in the Gachiakuta series. She functions as a supporting antagonist, notably appearing during the Trash Storm Arc and the Information Broker Arc. Her primary role within the group is as a specialist in mobility and transportation, often making her the linchpin for the Raiders' strategic movements and sudden retreats.

Standing at 152 centimeters or 4 feet 11 inches tall, Cthoni is a short woman with a lean but muscular build. She possesses a childish-looking face and short blue hair that often covers her blank yellow eyes. Her attire is consistent with the Raiders' aesthetic, consisting of poorly sewn-together, mismatched materials, including shorts, a crop top, and a choker around her neck. She typically carries a circular bag on her back to store her Vital Instrument.

Cthoni's personality is defined by a pervasive coldness and a nearly constant lack of emotion. She rarely speaks, and her quiet, unassuming presence allows her to move unnoticed and sneak up on others. In battle, she is highly pragmatic and realistic, understanding when a fight is unwinnable and knowing when to retreat, a trait that contrasts with more hotheaded allies. Despite her youthful appearance, she is 27 years old, making her notably older than several other key members of the Raiders. Her loyalty to the group's leader is absolute, and she follows orders without question, acting as a trusted agent for delivering messages and coordinating troop movements. She has a stated fondness for darkness, the Raiders, and creatures that crawl on the ground, while she strongly dislikes bright places.

Her motivations are closely tied to her loyalty to the Raiders and their leader. She enforces the group's will with a quiet, deadly resolve, as reflected in her statement that anyone who betrays the leader must pay. In the story, she acts as the group's primary means of transport and a key tactical asset, frequently partnering with the volatile Jabber. She is responsible for opening portals to deploy other Raiders into battle or to extract them from dangerous situations. For instance, she holds Jabber back from a suicidal charge and convinces him to retreat by noting the leader was smiling. In the Trash Storm Arc, she warps members of the Raiders to engage the Cleaners and later transports the leader and Rudo to the core of an aberrant beast.

Cthoni shares key relationships within the Raiders, characterized by her deep loyalty to Zodyl, whose orders she executes without hesitation and who relies on her for her invaluable abilities. She frequently works alongside Jabber, with her calm pragmatism serving as a counterbalance to his reckless aggression. She is also present during meetings with other members, such as Momoa, during operations like securing transportation to meet an information broker.

Her development throughout the series remains subtle, mostly revealed through her actions. She consistently demonstrates her strategic value and unshakeable composure, taking notes during battles and acting as a detached observer before intervening. While she is not a primary focus of character development, her reliability and mysterious past make her a consistently effective and enigmatic presence.

Cthoni is a Giver, meaning she wields a Vital Instrument, which she calls the manhole. This object takes the physical form of a sewer manhole cover and possesses the ability of light. Its primary power is warping, allowing Cthoni to effectively teleport herself and others to different locations. However, this ability has a critical limitation based on ambient light levels. In bright places, her warping is restricted, and she can only teleport to pipes, manholes, or similar locations that she has personally passed through before. In darkness, this restriction is completely removed, allowing her to teleport anywhere she desires, with no apparent limits on range or the size of the manhole portal she can create. Beyond her teleportation, she is also noted to have significant physical strength, being able to easily lift and restrain individuals much larger than herself. Additionally, she is known to prepare sandwiches for the leader's use.
