Tia Ballard is an American voice actress and ADR director known for her extensive work in English dubs of anime series. She is primarily associated with productions by Funimation and Sentai Filmworks. Born on May 11, 1986, and raised in Paris, Texas, Ballard's interest in voice acting was sparked after attending a local anime convention and learning that Funimation was located nearby. She studied theatre and art at Paris Junior College, from which she graduated in 2006, and also participated in the Disney College Program, an experience that influenced her decision to pursue a career in performance.

Ballard's first voice acting role was a small part in the series Dragonaut: The Resonance, working alongside veteran voice actress Monica Rial. Her career progressed with a larger role as Rachel Calvin in Linebarrels of Iron. She has since become a prolific figure in the industry, voicing a wide array of characters. Among her most prominent and long-running roles is Happy, the blue Exceed cat from the long-running series Fairy Tail. Another significant early role was Mizore Shirayuki in Rosario + Vampire.

Her filmography demonstrates considerable range, encompassing lead heroines, comedic sidekicks, and powerful figures. She is known for voicing Zero Two in Darling in the Franxx, Nanami Momozono in Kamisama Kiss, and Kokomi Teruhashi in The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.. In romantic comedy series, she has taken on roles such as Yoshino in Date A Live, Itsuki Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets, and Chiho Sasaki in The Devil Is a Part-Timer!. Her work in fantasy and action series includes Shuna in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Yue in Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest, Entoma Vasilissa Zeta in Overlord, and Kagura Soma in the 2019 adaptation of Fruits Basket. She also voices Nene Yashiro in Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun and Irina Luminesk in Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut.

Beyond voice acting, Ballard also works as an ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) director and script writer for anime dubs. Her directing credits include series such as Kono Oto Tomare! Sounds of Life, Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfast for Spirits, and In Another World with My Smartphone. Outside of her work in anime, she is a co-creator of Koopasta, an online comic inspired by the Super Mario Bros. franchise.
