Description
Je t'aime, also known as Jutaime or Jutem, is a mechanical combat partner, known as a B't, belonging to Fou Lafine within the Machine Empire. Her visual design and core attributes are directly inspired by the Chinese mythological Vermilion Bird of the South, specifically the phoenix, which gives her a distinct avian form.

As an independent combatant, she actively pursues and engages enemies on her own, including members of the Crow unit. Her personality is defined by a fierce loyalty to her partner, and she is consistently portrayed with feminine traits both in pronouns and vocal characteristics. Her name, which is French for I love you, reflects the deep bond she shares with Fou Lafine, upon whom she is heavily dependent for her ultimate transformation.

A pivotal aspect of her role in the story involves her destruction at the hands of the antagonist Quattro. After suffering fatal damage, Fou Lafine resurrects her by performing the song of the angels on his violin. This act unlocks her latent resurrection ability, transforming her into a true phoenix state. In this ascended form, her original vermilion hue shifts to a distinct pinkish glow, which signifies heightened power and purity. This resurrection is not an autonomous power but a passive ability that demands external activation through Fou's music to trigger her rebirth.

Her notable abilities are primarily sonic in nature. Her signature offensive technique is called Deadly Carol, which projects sonic waves designed to overwhelm a target B't control system. This attack induces terrifying hallucinations of angels and skeletons, culminating in the target's mental collapse while posing no risk to human beings. When she synchronizes with Fou's violin performance, this ability is amplified into Fortune Symphonic, which forges psychological and emotional bonds with those within range. Throughout the narrative, her development centers on the theme of renewal, with her storyline focusing on her conflict against Quattro and her subsequent rebirth into a more powerful form, though no significant evolution beyond this resurrection is explored.
