TV-Series
Description
Entoma Vasilissa Zeta is a battle maid and a member of the Pleiades Six Stars, the combat-focused maid squad tasked with the defense of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. She is an arachnoid, a spider-human hybrid, and was created by the Supreme Being known as Genjiro.
In her typical human guise, Entoma appears as a young girl of short stature, often dressed in traditional Japanese-style clothing. She has mauve hair styled into twin chignons and bright red eyes. However, her appearance is entirely a form of camouflage. The face she presents is actually a mask-like insect, and her hair is formed from structures resembling coiled centipedes. She never exposes any bare skin except for this false face. Beneath this disguise, her true form is that of a monstrous spider-like creature. She also possesses four long spider legs normally hidden on her back, which she can deploy when needed. To speak with a human-like voice, she uses a specialized insect that steals the vocal cords of her victims. Her natural voice is described as harsh and grating, a sound she dislikes, making her quiet and reluctant to speak should she lose her stolen voice. After a battle where her original voice-mimicking insect was destroyed, she began using the voice of a human named Arche Eeb Rile Furt.
Entoma's personality is deeply defined by her predatory nature, as she considers humans to be a food source. She does not harbor strong malice toward them but views them similarly to livestock. If she is not hungry and a human does not provoke her, she may simply ignore them. When she does hunt, she has a preference for the muscular arms of men, which she finds particularly delicious. In the absence of human prey, she sustains herself on snacks called green biscuits or insects. Despite these cannibalistic tendencies, her evil nature is considered relatively moderate compared to some of her fellow NPCs.
She holds immense pride in her role as a maid, a purpose given to her by her creator. This pride makes her susceptible to deep and lasting grudges against anyone who insults her purpose or damages her possessions. Her most intense grudge is held against Evileye, a member of the adventurer team Blue Roses. During a confrontation, Evileye not only destroyed her vocal cords and damaged her clothes but also insulted her very existence as a maid, questioning who would ever want a creature like her as a servant. This mockery of her creator's work drove Entoma into a vengeful rage, and she has since sought permission to be the one to kill Evileye should the opportunity arise.
Within the hierarchy of Nazarick, Entoma is absolutely loyal to the guild master Ainz Ooal Gown and to her creator, Genjiro, to whom she owes her highest allegiance. She has a friendly rivalry with her sister maid CZ2128 Delta, with whom she frequently debates who is the elder sister. She shares a predatory camaraderie with Solution Epsilon, as they both enjoy consuming humans, and is described by her superior, Yuri Alpha, as an obedient child. She is also noted to be jealous of her sister Narberal Gamma for her closeness to Ainz. The floor guardian Shalltear Bloodfallen and the area guardian Kyouhukou, who is a cockroach, are both uncomfortable being near her due to her habit of eating insects.
In terms of combat ability, Entoma is a spirit-based magic caster with a total level of 51. She is not a front-line fighter but excels in versatile tactics that blend close and ranged combat. Her primary techniques involve summoning a variety of specialized insects and using magical paper talismans. She can summon a Hard Bullet Bug to fire projectiles, a Blade Bug to use as a sword or throwing weapon, a Hard Armor Bug to act as a shield, and a powerful Thousand Lash Bug, which is a giant centipede over ten meters long. Her talismans allow her to launch lightning strikes, cause explosions, and create slicing winds. She can also produce sticky webs from her mouth to capture foes or sharp webs to cut them. One of her more gruesome abilities, the Breath of Fly, unleashes a swarm of flies that lay eggs inside a victim, with the larvae quickly consuming the host from within. Despite her versatility, she has weaknesses, including a vulnerability to insecticide-based spells and a delay in summoning her insects, which can be exploited in battle.
Within the comedic setting of the crossover, Entoma appears as part of the ensemble cast of characters from various series transported to a school-like world. While the environment is less focused on combat and more on slice-of-life interactions, her fundamental traits remain intact. She is typically seen alongside her fellow battle maids, and her quirks, such as her unsettling appearance and her manner of speaking with a stolen voice, are played for humor. Her interactions often highlight her literal-mindedness and her unique, predatory perspective on the world around her, showing no significant character development as the show focuses on humorous scenarios rather than personal growth.
