Description
Inaho Kushiya is a first-year student at Tenbi Academy and a member of the Student Council Security Division, known as Maken-ki. She is one of the main heroines of the story and holds the combat rank of A. Standing at 150 centimeters tall, Inaho has a youthful yet developed figure, characterized by her short, light brown hair styled into two ponytails and her red eyes.

Inaho possesses a cheerful and generally innocent personality, often appearing as an airhead, particularly when it comes to matters that do not involve her primary focus. Her most defining trait is her unwavering devotion to Takeru Ooyama, whom she has known since childhood. She proclaims herself as Takeru's fiancée, a claim rooted in a promise the two made when they were young. While she is primarily sweet and good-natured, she also displays great intuition and intelligence, especially in combat situations where she can devise effective Maken strategies. A notable quirk is her immense love for sweets; she is capable of consuming entire cakes and other snacks in a matter of seconds and is never without a supply on hand.

Inaho's primary motivation throughout the series is to make Takeru remember their childhood promise and to solidify her place by his side. She is fiercely protective of him and is determined to become strong enough to fight alongside him and keep him safe. Her role in the story is largely defined by her romantic pursuit of Takeru, positioning her as a direct rival to Haruko Amaya, Takeru's other childhood friend, as well as other female characters like Kodama Himegami and Shiria Ootsuka who also have feelings for him. Despite the romantic rivalry, Inaho maintains friendly relationships with most of the other girls, viewing them as both friends and competitors. She has a close bond with her pet cat, Monji, whom she rescued and often carries on her head.

In terms of character development, Inaho's backstory reveals she was an abandoned child left on the doorstep of Tesshin Kushiya, who raised her and taught her martial arts. She was later captured and subsequently taken in by the Ooyama family, Takeru's parents, after Tesshin was imprisoned. This history is central to the childhood promise she holds so dear. Her development involves the evolution of her power and her journey to become worthy of wielding her unique Maken. Throughout the series, she struggles with the burden and control of her inherited weapon, facing the physical toll it takes on her body. Ultimately, her development culminates in her decision to pass on her Maken to its rightful owner, Takeru, having judged that he has become strong enough to wield it.

Inaho's notable abilities stem from her Maken, Kamudo. Unlike most students who receive their Maken upon entering Tenbi Academy, Inaho already possessed Kamudo, a weapon that takes the shape of a gauntlet. Kamudo is legendary, recognized as one of the original eight Maken and a treasured heirloom of the Ooyama family, originally intended for Takeru. When activated, the gauntlet greatly enhances Inaho's strength and speed, multiplying her physical capabilities in combat. However, the weapon is not fully attuned to her, and overusing its power puts immense stress on her body, often causing her to collapse from exhaustion after using her more powerful techniques. Her known attacks include Mitsuka Sen (Rotation), where she grabs a target and rotates her gauntlet at high speed to generate destructive friction, and Hiken Hitotsuka, a powerful ground-shattering strike. The true, latent ability of Kamudo is far more profound than simple physical enhancement; it is the power to compress time and space, allowing the user to move freely within a world that appears frozen. As she is not the original owner, Inaho can only draw out a fraction of this true potential.
