TV-Series
Description
Bro Santa is a member of the Cleaners, an organization dedicated to eliminating threats in the world of Gachiakuta. He serves as the leader and supervisor of Team Child, a position that reflects his role as caretaker for his younger teammates.
In terms of appearance, Bro Santa is a tall and muscular man with long black hair, which he typically styles in a ponytail with blonde highlights. He has brown eyes and a short, pointed beard, complemented by black earrings. His most distinctive feature is the pale green bandana he wears, which is decorated with a navy blue cross-eye pattern. Unlike other Cleaners who wear the standard association jacket, Bro Santa wears a shirt that incorporates the jacket's design features, including black patches, the Cleaner symbol, and arm bands.
Bro Santa has a calm and peace-advocating personality, often finding himself apologizing for the actions of his much younger and less socially aware team members. His patience and understanding are most evident in his relationship with his adoptive son, Dear. Bro Santa deeply cherishes Dear and watches over his growth with great care. He acknowledges a child's potential for growth and believes that when a child sets their mind to something, they can achieve greatness. He holds the view that a parent needs to pay attention to truly understand what their child is capable of, even if the parent initially doubts them. This fatherly concern extends to practical matters, such as ensuring Dear adheres to his bedtime.
Bro Santa's role in the story is primarily as a supporting member of the Cleaners. He has been present at significant events, including the first time the protagonist Rudo visited Cleaner headquarters, Rudo's welcoming party, and meetings to discuss threats such as the marauders and vandals. He was present when the Cleaners were unexpectedly attacked by the vandals and dragged through one of Cthoni's portals. His interactions are often marked by his protective nature towards his team, particularly in one instance where he apologizes after Dear demands sweets from Rudo. In a confrontation with an enemy named Bundus, Bro Santa demonstrates his loyalty to the Cleaners' leader, Corvus, by selectively answering questions about him. This encounter also highlights his primary concern for his son's well-being, even in a hostile situation.
As a Giver, Bro Santa wields a Vital Instrument named Cloth. Cloth is a long piece of fabric adorned with swirling eye-like patterns. Typically tied around his head as a bandana, the cloth can be activated to extend massively, at which point a handle with Bro Santa's name branded on it in the series' unique language is created. The main ability of Cloth is its immense stretchiness. Bro Santa uses this property to attach the cloth to people, either to restrain them or to boost their movements. He can also use it to maneuver himself around his environment. This ability complements his role in Team Child, where he acts as a protective bodyguard for the more offensively focused Dear.
