Description
Alicia Glenfall originates as one of the thirteen heroes chosen by the kingdom to defeat the monstrous king Clevatess. Selected personally by the king, she represented the ideal of youthful ambition and the dream of becoming a hero. Her early life was shaped by her father, a warrior who trained her in swordsmanship and inspired her desire to see the wider world. She grew up in the village of Sogo, and for a time concealed her identity as the daughter of the former sword saint Margo.

Physically, Alicia is slim and youthful with short blonde hair. Her most defining features are the scars from her fatal battle with Clevatess: a large, noticeable scar stretches across the left side of her forehead down to her eye, which is permanently covered by a black eyepatch. Her remaining eye is a sharp blue. As a warrior, she typically wears a rugged tunic dress with a leather corset-like harness and is known for wielding dual swords.

In personality, Alicia is a dreamer at heart who genuinely wanted to help people and become a hero. However, her personality is heavily complicated by the weight of her failure and death. After her resurrection, she becomes deeply conflicted, torn between her former ideals and her new reality as a servant to the monster she swore to destroy. Despite this, she remains stubborn and unwilling to surrender her sense of right and wrong, even as her master dismisses human morality. She shows doubt, fear, and reluctance, making her a very human figure, yet she does not collapse under this weight. She develops a habit of giving up a little due to her circumstances, but her core of determination remains.

Alicia’s primary motivation shifts after her death and rebirth. While she once fought for glory and the kingdom, her new mission becomes her anchor: to protect and care for the infant boy Luna. This task allows her to feel a sense of redemption for her failure as a hero. Protecting Luna becomes her greatest priority, and she redirects all her energy into this mission, seeing it as a way to reclaim a part of her lost heroism.

In the story, Alicia serves as the emotional and moral center. She is the medium that connects the demon king Clevatess with humanity. Her role is that of a fallen hero and reluctant servant, forced to cooperate with her killer for the sake of a child. She is not the invincible protagonist but a tragic figure whose desperate struggle defines the narrative.

Her most important relationship is with Clevatess himself. He is both her killer and her resurrector, and she is bound to him as a servant, unable to disobey his direct orders because she is sustained by his demonic blood. Their dynamic is filled with tension, reluctance, and a strange dependency. Her relationship with Luna’s infant boy becomes her emotional anchor and the source of her new purpose, awakening a fierce, protective instinct. She also has a significant connection to her father’s murderer, Dorel, whom she eventually defeats in combat.

Alicia undergoes a profound transformation. She begins as an idealistic hero who fails and dies. Upon being resurrected as an undead being, she is humiliated and forced into servitude. However, she gradually finds new purpose in protecting Luna, which transforms her from a fallen hero into a tragic but formidable protector. Her old moral compass, with its rules and hesitations, is replaced by an unshakable duty to protect the child at any cost, making her colder, more strategic, and far more dangerous than she was as a living hero.

As for abilities, Alicia is a highly skilled swordswoman with considerable combat sense and judgment. She possesses innate talent with the blade, trained from childhood by her father, and can hear the voice of swords to unleash their maximum power. She wields legendary treasures known as the Takiwari and the Ganen. After her resurrection, she gains an unnatural connection to Clevatess. His ichor flows through her, making her undead and granting her resilience far beyond an ordinary human, allowing her to survive lethal conditions. However, this bond makes her dependent on Clevatess for survival and forces her absolute obedience. Her greatest strength, however, is her capacity to endure loss, failure, and humiliation while still moving forward.
