Description
Ageha is the five-year-old protagonist of the story, originally the neglected eldest son of a noble family in the declining Kio Empire. He is physically characterized by his short, bowl-cut black hair, rounded cheeks, and a noticeably chubby or overweight build. His life changes dramatically after he survives a near-fatal illness; this event triggers the return of memories from a previous life as a Japanese man who was passionate about cooking, sewing, and handicrafts.

Before regaining his past life memories, Ageha lived as a spoiled and somewhat selfish child, a circumstance exacerbated by the cold indifference of his parents. The recollection of his former self transforms his personality, making him more reflective, responsible, and empathetic. He becomes deeply caring and protective, with his primary motivation stemming from a vision of the future where his younger half-brother, Regulus, would kill him over their family inheritance. Determined to avert this dark fate, Ageha resolves to raise and nurture Regulus himself, pouring all his affection into his sibling to ensure he grows up with a kind heart and strong moral character. His love for his brother quickly turns him into a doting and devoted family member.

Ageha plays the central role in the story, acting as a reformer and innovator for his family's territory. Using the practical knowledge from his past life, he creates regional products, introduces new educational methods, and develops recipes to improve the land and the lives of its people. His efforts often involve the divine, as his actions draw the attention of gods and national heroes. His key relationships include his adored little brother Regulus, who is the focus of his efforts and affections. He is also supported by his elf tutor, Alexei Romanov, a nationally recognized hero. He gains the favor of Princess Hyakka, the goddess of healing and abundance, who is fascinated by the cultural concepts Ageha introduces, such as musicals and origami. He also receives the blessing of Igor, the god of technology. Within his own household, his most trusted ally is the head maid, Rottenmeyer, who, despite her business-like exterior, genuinely cares for him.

Throughout the narrative, Ageha undergoes significant development, transitioning from a neglected and somewhat spoiled child into a proactive and caring young leader. He channels his feelings of loneliness into constructive action, building a family for himself by protecting and educating his brother. While he remains a young child, his past life experiences grant him the maturity to navigate political and social challenges, though he also struggles with the physical toll of his memories, often developing fevers when he recalls them. He begins to lose some of his chubby weight as the series progresses, reflecting a change in his health and circumstances. Ageha possesses two notable supernatural abilities granted by Princess Hyakka: Green Hand, which promotes the rapid growth and abundant harvest of plants, and Blue Hand, which grants him exceptional skill in manual crafts like sewing and cooking. Furthermore, due to Igor’s blessing, any items he creates carry a magical bonus that enhances the abilities of the user.
