Description
Shotaro Terauchi is a third-year Ionodai High School student and captain of its skate-leading team, sporting short green hair and brown eyes. He typically dresses in a blue shirt and black shoes beneath his jacket and pants. Serious and wise by nature, Shotaro approaches both team leadership and skating with unwavering dedication. Though reserved in expression, he harbors deep concern for others, consistently prioritizing the group's welfare—a trait that earned him the nickname "dad" from teammate Yukimitsu.

Prior to high school, Shotaro declined an invitation to St Cavis Gakuen to remain with his peers. As captain, he initially hesitated when Kensei Maeshima sought to join the team, voicing reservations to Itsuki Kiriyama about possible distractions. However, after witnessing Kensei's skill and passion, Shotaro advocated for his inclusion. When Kensei later violated training rules and Itsuki demanded his removal, Shotaro intervened by proposing a reinstatement skate-off. He defeated Kensei one-on-one, but conceded to a three-person rematch after Hayato Sasugai highlighted the matchup's imbalance. Following his team's victory, Shotaro formally welcomed both Kensei and Hayato as full members.

His name reflects his character: "Shotaro" combines characters for "right/proper," "thick/big," and "son," while "Terauchi" means "temple inside/within." Kensei occasionally addresses him as "Sho."

Official merchandise includes a gradient-themed mini tapestry, character key rings, glitter-accented metal badges, and acrylic diorama stands pairing him with Itsuki Kiriyama.
