Description
Rajit Heathrow is a supporting character in the anime Sentenced to Be a Hero. He is a holy knight who serves Captain Patausche Kivia, the commander of the 13th Order of Holy Knights, and he holds the position of leader of the order's infantry. Among Kivia's officers he is one of her top subordinates, a soldier whose standing places him in positions of significant responsibility within the order. He is specifically assigned, alongside the knight Tatsuya, to defend the underground path of Mureed Fortress, a duty that puts him on the front lines of the ongoing conflict against the demonic forces.

Rajit's role in the story is closely tied to his relationship with Kivia. When Kivia's uncle, a High Priest who had secretly allied himself with the Demon Blight, moved to eliminate Kivia and those closest to her, Rajit was among those marked for death alongside his commander. The attempt on their lives triggered a violent response from Kivia, who killed her uncle in a fit of rage and was left in shock afterward over what she had done. Rajit thus functions in the narrative as a loyal knight whose fate is caught up in the political turmoil surrounding his captain, and the attack on him serves as part of the sequence of events that defines Kivia's own arc.

In terms of personality and motivation, Rajit is presented primarily through his devotion to duty and his loyalty to his commander. He carries the responsibilities of an infantry leader, directing the soldiers under him and taking on dangerous assignments as ordered. The story does not focus on a private personal history for him; instead it shows him as a capable holy knight who operates within the military hierarchy, with his significance to the plot stemming from his proximity to Kivia rather than from an independent arc of personal change. His abilities are those of a holy knight and officer, reflected in his leadership of the 13th Order's infantry and his deployment to defend a strategically important fortress passage, though the story does not emphasize any exceptional or unique powers on his part.
