Mey Mey is a humanoid sheep from Niko Garden who serves as the loyal butler of Niko, the garden’s owner. He is the first Niko Animal to be rescued by the Precure after being corrupted into a Garugaru, and from that point he acts as a guide and supporter for the team. In his appearance in Wonderful Precure! The Movie!, Mey Mey accompanies the Precure and aids them in navigating the game world that serves as the film’s setting, continuing his role as a caretaker and adviser.

His personality is docile and responsible, and he takes his duties seriously, managing the daily chores of Niko Garden and preparing its special tea. However, he is prone to stress and anxiety when others do not listen to his advice or when things do not go according to plan, which sometimes leads to comedic moments. Despite this, he is capable and dedicated to protecting Niko and the Niko Animals.

Mey Mey’s relationship with Niko is one of devoted servitude; he sees Niko as his master and works diligently to fulfill her wishes. He also forms a strong bond with the Precure team, especially the initial members Komugi and Iroha, and is willing to stand up for his friends even when he is normally cautious about physical contact. His key ability is to store objects within his fluffy wool, and he can also puff up like a balloon to assist during battles.
