Shinnosuke Tachibana

Shinnosuke Tachibana is a Japanese voice actor, singer, and narrator born on April 26, 1978, in Gifu Prefecture. His interest in voice acting began in high school after watching the anime OVA Oh My Goddess, prompting him to pursue it as a career. He trained at the Aojijuku Tokyo School before making his professional debut in 2003.
His voice is often described as transparent and refreshing, suitable for both young and adolescent male characters. Tachibana's career began with minor roles in series such as E's Otherwise and Da Capo. Over the years, he has built an extensive and varied filmography across anime, video games, and original video animations.
Tachibana has been affiliated with several talent agencies throughout his career. He was with Production Baobab until May 2011, then moved to Axlone. In April 2018, he co-founded his own agency, BLACK SHIP, with fellow voice actor Jun Fukuyama and currently serves as its CEO.
Beyond voice acting, Tachibana is also a creative artist. He has experience in mime and Nihon buyō dance, which he practiced for about four years before focusing on voice acting. In 2013, he debuted as a manga author with his series The Manor Detective, which was serialized in Young Ace magazine, and he also wrote the subsequent novel version. He has been part of several musical units, including Lux-age with Naruse Makoto and ELEKITER ROUND φ with Hino Satoshi. He is also a member of the voice actor group DABA.
Tachibana's notable anime roles are numerous and span a wide range of genres. Some of his most recognized performances include Tomoe in Kamisama Kiss, Chiaki Yoshino in Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi, Morisuke Yaku in Haikyu!!, Soma Asman Kadar in Black Butler, Seidou Takizawa in Tokyo Ghoul:re, and Yuki in the IDOLiSH7 series. He has also voiced Shuuya Kano in Mekakucity Actors, Minato Sahashi in Sekirei, and Taito Kurogane in A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives. In video games, he is well-known for roles such as Jusis Albarea in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel, Alphinaud Leveilleur in Final Fantasy XIV, and Koryuu Kagemitsu in Touken Ranbu.
