Description
Justice Tachibana originated as the third mascot for the Battle Spirits trading card game before becoming a main character in Cartoon Network's "Let's Play Battle Spirits! X" from its fourth season. He hosts a bi-weekly column on the Japanese Battle Spirits website and hails from the future. His iconic catchphrase evolved from "This is my justice!!" to "This is my legend!!", cementing his enduring mascot status alongside figures like Aggressive Kenta.

In the Cartoon Network series, he co-starred in roughly five-minute episodes, alternating with Galaxy Watanabe. They demonstrated weekly strategies by battling and defeating a guest child, followed by a breakdown of the tactics, establishing Justice as an experienced battler and mentor.

Within the Battle Spirits Sword Eyes narrative, Justice serves as one of three messengers of God, alongside Galaxy Watanabe and Bomber. He exhibits a strong fondness for melon bread. His interventions in human affairs include gifting a jewel staff to Grenada as a child and prophesying she would become a mother to light and dark—a prediction fulfilled by the birth of her sons, Yaiba and Tsurugi.

Though generally reluctant to interfere directly, Justice assists Tsurugi Tatewaki against Yaiba. In their first duel (episode 7), Justice used an exact replica of Yaiba's deck, including Sword Brave, but lost and rewarded Tsurugi with three Flame Field cards. Later (episode 30), he battled Tsurugi again using a copy of Tsurugi's own light deck. During this duel, Justice expressed concerns that Tsurugi might succumb to chaos after obtaining both Light and Dark Sword Eyes, admitting uncertainty as Tsurugi was the first such case. Justice lost this test of resolve. He also fought Yaiba (episode 33) using a burst deck, suffering defeat once more.

Justice and the other messengers eventually betrayed God (using Garudos Randall as a vessel), resulting in the loss of their divine powers. Following the series' conclusion, he lives in the newly formed world, spending his time playing Battle Spirits with children.

In the spin-off *Battle Spirits Saikyo Ginga Ultimate Zero*, Justice possesses a planet shaped like a melon and hosts the Justice Cup tournament to find the world's strongest Card Quester, offering a space compass as the prize.

While Justice Tachibana doesn't appear physically in *Battle Spirits Heroes*, he is narratively represented through Tameru Tachibana, a self-proclaimed hero of justice who shares his surname and thematic motif but differs in appearance and age.
