Initially viewing him as a good comrade, she later develops romantic feelings for him after utilizing his Slave abilities in battle. She is also close friends with her classmate Ema Magura, who later joins her unit. In terms of development, Konomi evolves from a capable but somewhat predictable martial artist into a more versatile fighter and leader. Her journey includes learning to open up emotionally and understanding her own feelings, particularly her growing affection for Yuuki. Konomi's notable abilities stem from her power, Beast Power, also known as Golden Xingyiquan.
