Description
Bell Tsukiyono serves as the chief of the Anti-Demon Corps' 3rd Unit. She is a young woman with long blue hair, orange eyes, and a fringe that covers her forehead, often styled with two small pigtails adorned with beads. Her standard attire is the corps uniform, a navy blue militia tunic complemented by white gloves, a short skirt, and thigh-high boots. Physically, she stands 156 centimeters tall and her birthday is March 30.

Bell's childhood was marked by difficulty, as she was frequently ignored by her parents and bullied by her classmates at school. During these formative years, she would often visit a shrine, wishing to be granted a powerful ability from the Peaches, which are the source of supernatural powers for women in her world. When her wish was finally granted, her ability was discovered, and she was scouted to join the Anti-Demon Corps by the then-commander, Tobera Azuma. She initially found praise and admiration among her peers, which was a new and welcome experience. However, upon meeting the other unit chiefs, she became acutely aware that her power seemed insignificant in comparison to theirs, causing her self-esteem to plummet to the same low level she experienced in her youth. Despite this, she held a strong desire to remain with the corps and befriend all of its members.

In terms of personality, Bell is defined by her timidity and a constant sense of fear and concern. She is particularly worried about failing to properly lead her unit and is often anxious about being mocked or scolded, especially by the current commander, Ren Yamashiro. This nervous disposition is so ingrained that she consistently refers to herself in the third-person. Due to her low self-esteem and hesitant nature, she is widely considered the weakest chief in the entire corps, a fact that was tragically demonstrated when she was easily defeated by the powerful enemy Fukuma.

Within the story, Bell's role is that of a struggling leader who is keenly aware of her own shortcomings. Her key relationships are often defined by these anxieties. She lives in terror of Commander Ren Yamashiro, who frequently uses Bell's fears to manipulate and control her, treating her almost as a personal plaything. Despite this, she shares a more supportive dynamic with Kyouka Uzen, the chief of the 7th Unit. Kyouka has tried to reassure Bell and compliment her abilities, showing a camaraderie among the chiefs. Bell also interacts with Yuuki Wakura, the male protagonist who can transform into a slave for the chiefs, and this connection becomes instrumental in her development. Her confidence continues to waver, especially after her unit suffers a heavy blow in battle. However, she begins to find her resolve through these challenging experiences, shifting her motivation from a desire to stand out to a stronger purpose of fighting to protect her comrades.

Bell's notable abilities stem from her Peach Blessing, which is known as Canopus or Laughing Juroujin. This power allows her to extract the essence of life from any material object, instantly destroying it. Furthermore, this ability grants her a form of immortality; no matter how severe her injuries, she cannot die as long as her power remains intact. She can even heal herself, as shown when she removed scars from her body using her self-healing ability. Despite the immense potential of this power, Bell's lack of confidence prevents her from fully utilizing it. In combat, she can also use a slave form with Yuuki called Hidden Moon, which grants them the ability to turn invisible, though this is exhausting to maintain and their presence can still be felt.
