Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck is a former Arrancar and a one-time member of the Espada, the elite group of Hollow-Shinigami hybrids who served under Sosuke Aizen. She originally held the rank of Tercera Espada, meaning third seat, signifying her immense power among Aizen's forces. In the events of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 - The Conflict, she returns as a key ally to Ichigo Kurosaki and the Soul Society, fighting against the Wandenreich.
Nelliel's background is marked by tragedy and betrayal. In her past, she was a powerful and respected warrior who commanded her own group of followers known as the Tres Cifras. Unlike many of her fellow Espada, she possessed a strong sense of honor and compassion, which placed her at odds with the brutal nature of Hueco Mundo.
