Nerd A, whose full name is Tatsuya Oda, is one of four male classmates collectively referred to as the Nerds or the Otaku Squad in the anime Loner Life in Another World. He is a high school student who, along with his entire class, is transported to a fantasy world and allowed to choose special skills. As a member of the nerd clique, he shares their common interests in games, anime, and fantasy tropes. Physically, he has short brown hair, brown eyes, and wears glasses, with freckles on his face. His outward appearance matches the stereotypical image of an otaku.
