Kikoyu is a young girl who appears in the second season of the anime, introduced as a mysterious figure known as the Child of Snow. She is a servant of the King of the Underworld and travels alongside a sentient soil entity called Hata, as well as several animal companions.

Her quest parallels the relationship between Lammis and Boxxo, as Kikoyu serves as The Fields means of communication with the outside world. When she touches The Field, the two can communicate perfectly, a level of direct communication that Boxxo and Lammis have not yet achieved.

Kikoyu plays a supporting role in the story as a fellow reincarnated being who understands Boxxos unique situation. Her presence expands the worlds lore, revealing that reincarnation as inanimate objects might be more common than initially believed. She is one of the few characters who can communicate directly with Boxxo using her telepathic ability, allowing her to understand his thoughts without the interpretation Lammis typically relies upon.
