Andrea Rondo is a supporting character in Shadowverse Flame. She works as a Japanese language teacher at Shadowverse Battle College, but this role conceals her true identity as a member of the Seven Shadows, an elite group of the world’s strongest players. As a Shadowcraft Grandmaster, she is a formidable opponent. Andrea has a consistently quiet and gloomy demeanor, holding a bleak view of the world. This outlook stems from a tragedy in her past: her mother was a researcher developing technology to save humanity, but after being betrayed and fired, she died in despair. Andrea tried to continue her mother’s work but could not understand the research, leading her to found the organization Enigma, which aims to digitize human consciousness and free people from the suffering of reality. She joined the Seven Shadows to further this goal and found an ally in Hina Sinclair. Despite her pessimism, Andrea retains a caring side and takes quiet satisfaction in watching young people grow. She battles Light Tenryu when he seeks a strong Shadowcraft opponent, offering advice that helps him unlock a new power. She also becomes a rival to Tsubasa Takanashi, whose unwavering positivity challenges Andrea’s worldview. Andrea’s deck focuses on the Reanimate mechanic to bring destroyed followers back from the graveyard, with her ace card being the Lord of Resurrection, which grants reanimated followers the Storm ability. She also uses Necromancy and Burial Rite effects. When the Arc Ruler invades, Andrea and Hina stand in the way of the other protagonists. After being defeated, Andrea believes it is too late for hope and attempts to fall to her death, but she and Hina survive and later escape from the hospital, becoming missing persons to find a new purpose. Andrea has purple eyes and brown hair that reaches chest length, standing 175 centimeters tall and weighing 58 kilograms.
