Description
Dalmatiman is a Perfect Chojin who appears in the Perfect Origin Arc, designed with the physical traits of a Dalmatian dog. His body is primarily humanoid and exposed, with only a collar and armbands as accessories, and he possesses the unique ability to manipulate the black spots that cover his skin. He is a member of the Perfect Large Numbers, a powerful group serving under Strong the Budo, and holds the alternate title of Perfect Fang.

In terms of personality, Dalmatiman stands out among his fellow Perfect Chojin for his vicious and ruthless approach to combat, favoring a brutal and bloody wrestling style. This ferocity does not compromise his pride or adherence to the Perfect Chojin code; he is a loyal follower of their strict rules, which demand that a defeated warrior must take their own life. His dialogue reflects a self-image as a hunter rather than a simple watchdog, indicating a deep-seated pride in his predatory abilities.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Dalmatian’s role in the narrative begins when the Perfect Large Numbers interrupt a peace treaty signing, sparking a new tournament against the Justice Chojin. After an initial display of force where he mauls Geronimo, Dalmatiman is launched to the Great Wall of China, intending to challenge the Justice Chojin Ramenman. However, he is ambushed there by the Devil Chojin Black Hole, who takes Ramenman’s place. This confrontation becomes his sole and defining battle in the arc.

The fight between Dalmatiman and Black Hole is a showcase of his extensive offensive arsenal. He effectively counters many of his opponent’s four-dimensional tactics using his canine instincts. His signature abilities include Speckle Control, which lets him move the spots on his body for various effects; he can concentrate them to form a hole to trap an opponent, fire them as a cannon-like Speckle Bomb, or shift them to transform his head into that of a different dog breed for a more powerful bite. He uses techniques like Mad Dog Tooth to tear at his opponent, a Salivating Shield amplified by sunlight to eliminate shadows, and a finishing hold called the Dalmatian Clutch. Dalmatiman boasts that his sense of smell is ten quadrillion times greater than a human’s, which allows him to track Black Hole even when he hides in other dimensions.

Development for Dalmatiman is limited due to his brief appearance, but his character is defined by his unwavering commitment to the Perfect Chojin ideology. After a long and fiercely contested battle, he is ultimately defeated by Black Hole’s Fourth Dimension Kill. True to his code, he immediately attempts to impale himself on a sharpened pole to preserve his honor. His development concludes tragically and abruptly when Black Hole, acting on orders to purge the Perfect Chojin, prevents the suicide and instead decapitates Dalmatiman with his red mantle. His key relationship is thus with his killer, Black Hole, who subverts Dalmatiman’s most deeply held principle by denying him a warrior’s death.
