TV-Series
Description
Marcus Dorkreit is a former member of the Demon Lord's Six Demonic Generals, a group of elite vassals who once served the Demon Lord Veltol Velvet Velsvalt in the magical world of Alneath. He is known for his mastery of blood-related magic and is himself an immortal being. In the 500 years following Veltol's defeat at the hands of the hero Gram, Marcus adapted to the merged world of Alneath and Earth, becoming the CEO of Ishimaru Heavy Magic Industries (IHMI) in the cyberpunk city of Shinjuku. His corporation plays a major role in the city's infrastructure, notably by using an Immortal Furnace that consumes immortals to generate energy.

Personality-wise, Marcus is cunning, arrogant, and deeply ambitious. He prioritizes his own power and advancement above all else, showing little loyalty to former allies. He bears a profound hatred for Veltol, stemming from their past as master and servant, and this resentment drives much of his antagonistic behavior. His self-serving nature leads him to join the Holy New World Church, a powerful religious organization, purely as a means to further his own influence. He has no qualms about betraying others if it benefits him.

In the story, Marcus serves as a former subordinate turned rival and antagonist to Veltol. He embodies the political and corporate power structures that Veltol must navigate in the futuristic setting. His company's exploitation of immortals directly conflicts with Veltol's principles and goals. Key relationships include his adversarial dynamic with Veltol, his subordinate role under the church, and his dealings with other immortals whom he views as resources.

Marcus undergoes limited development; his core motivations remain consistent throughout his appearances. He is defined by his hatred and ambition, and his actions are calculated to maintain and expand his power. He does not experience a redemption arc and remains a foil to Veltol's regal and long-term vision.

Notable abilities are centered on his Bloody Arts, a specialized form of magic that allows him to manipulate blood for offensive and defensive purposes. As an immortal, he cannot die by conventional means, which makes him a persistent threat. His corporate position also grants him access to advanced magical engineering and the resources of IHMI, including the Immortal Furnace, which he uses as both a weapon and an energy source.
