Description
Kelart Custodio serves as the highest-ranking cleric and head of the clergy within the Roble Holy Kingdom. She is the younger sister of Remedios Custodio, the leader of the Holy Kingdom's paladins, and is two years her junior. Together with her sister and the Holy Queen Calca Bessarez, Kelart forms part of a triumvirate known as the twin wings of the queen, collectively governing the northern region of the kingdom.

In terms of appearance, Kelart shares a strong resemblance to her older sister, possessing the same bob-cut brown hair often adorned with a white hairband. However, subtle differences in the shape of her eyes and mouth give her a more cunning and calculated expression, one that can appear as though she is perpetually plotting something. Her clerical garments are notable for their contrasting colors, being pure white on the outside but lined with deep black on the inside, a visual metaphor for her hidden nature.

Personality-wise, Kelart is depicted as a stark contrast to her impulsive and straightforward sister. She is highly intelligent, rational, and cautious, preferring to gather all necessary information before committing to any course of action. Externally, she is almost always seen with a gentle and benevolent smile, presenting the image of a serene saint. However, this demeanor is understood to be a complete act, concealing a far more formidable and ruthless interior. This duality has earned her the reputation of having a face like a bodhisattva but the heart of a demon, and she is widely considered the most fearsome woman in the Holy Kingdom.

While she is fiercely protective of those she cherishes, this loyalty transforms into cold-blooded aggression when her loved ones are threatened. She holds her friend Queen Calca and her family in the highest regard, and any enemy who endangers them will find her to be even more aggressive and merciless than her battle-hungry sister. Her motivations are deeply tied to ensuring the stability of Calca's rule and the prosperity of the kingdom's northern faction. To this end, she acts as a shadow strategist, willingly employing underhanded political tactics that the kind-hearted Queen Calca refuses to use herself, such as tirelessly seeking opportunities to ruin the rival nobles who oppose the queen.

Kelart's role in the story is primarily as a key supporter and political mastermind for Queen Calca. She brings a crucial element of strategic thinking to the Holy Kingdom's leadership, often having to temper Remedios's reckless enthusiasm with practical considerations. Her relationship with her sister is complex; while she loves Remedios and accepts being used as a scapegoat to shield her from feelings of inadequacy, she also harbors frustration toward Remedios's refusal to engage in intellectual or strategic thought. She is also noted to hold a general animosity toward most of the royal family, viewing them as incompetent, with the sole exceptions of Calca and her brother, Caspond Bessarez.

Regarding her development, Kelart's narrative trajectory is tragically cut short before significant personal growth can occur. During the demon emperor Jaldabaoth's invasion of the Holy Kingdom, she accompanies Queen Calca to the fortress city of Kalinsha to provide magical support against the attacking forces. When their attacks prove futile against the demon, she and the queen are quickly overpowered and captured. Her ultimate fate is grim; she is killed, and her severed head is later discovered being used by a summoned Circlet Demon, which animates her decapitated head to cast her own high-tier spells against her former allies. Her death has devastating consequences for her sister, Remedios, as it not only robs her of a beloved family member but also permanently destroys any hope of resurrecting their slain queen, a miracle only Kelart's magic could have performed. Following the liberation of Kalinsha, her remains are cremated.

Notably, Kelart is an exceptionally powerful pure cleric, considered one of the strongest in the entire region. Although it is publicly known that she can use divine magic up to the fourth tier, this is a deliberate deception; in truth, she has reached the realm of heroes by being able to cast spells of the fifth tier. Her magical abilities surpass even those of Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra of the adamantite-ranked adventurer team Blue Roses, though this fact is kept a closely guarded secret. Among the spells she is known to wield are Holy Ray, a fourth-tier destructive beam of light; Raise Dead, a fifth-tier resurrection spell; and other incantations such as Shock Wave, Open Wounds, and Blindness. She also has the ability to summon angelic beings, such as the Archangel Flame, to fight on her behalf.
