Description
Ariel Anemoi Asura is the second princess of the Asura Kingdom and holds the third position in the line of succession to the throne. She is the only daughter of the king and his queen consort, making her the sole heir recognized as possessing the pure bloodline of the Asura royal family. Known throughout the kingdom as the most beautiful princess in history, she has long, fluffy golden blonde hair, a melodious and charismatic voice, and a crystalline beauty often described as pictorial perfection. Her personality is a complex mix of traits shaped by royal power struggles. From a young age, she grew up critically analyzing the nobles around her, believing they would betray her the moment it became advantageous. Initially she had no interest in the throne and led a hedonistic life of pleasure. On the surface she presents a cunning and somewhat vulgar demeanor, but she is sincere and rewarding to those who serve her faithfully, never forgetting the sacrifices of her loyal supporters. Having survived repeated assassination attempts during her childhood, she developed a dark and manipulative side, with both sadistic and masochistic tendencies. She famously states, “I never trust anyone, nor do I wish to be trusted,” yet she shows fierce loyalty and protectiveness toward her inner circle. During the Fittoa teleportation incident, a monster appeared in the royal castle. Her guardian sorcerer, Derrick Redbat, protected her and was mortally wounded, urging her to become queen. Deeply moved, Ariel decided to fight for the crown. In the same incident, Sylphiette was teleported nearby and saved Ariel from a Terminate Boar. Ariel appointed her as her new guardian sorcerer under the alias Fitz. Their bond deepened as both suffered nightmares—Sylphiette from teleportation trauma, Ariel from her near‑death experience—and they shared a bed for mutual comfort. After an initial political struggle against the faction supporting the first prince ended in defeat, Ariel was forced to flee the Asura Kingdom to escape continuous assassination attempts. She traveled to the Ranoa Kingdom under the guise of studying abroad, and upon arriving at Ranoa Magic University she refused special treatment as a princess, enrolling as a regular student. She became student council president to recruit talented individuals and political allies for a future return to Asura. She formed an inseparable bond with Sylphiette, who served as both protector and confidante. Her relationship with her guardian knight, Luke Notos Greyrat, is one of deep trust since childhood, though she is aware that circumstances could force him to betray her. She considers Rudeus Greyrat the most powerful mage she has ever met and, despite initial wariness, recognizes him as an irreplaceable ally. With his help, she gained an audience with the legendary hero Perugius Dola, and after a journey to the Library Labyrinth she earned his cooperation by demonstrating her conviction to inherit the will of those who sacrificed themselves for her path to the crown. Later she voluntarily became a subordinate of Orsted, the Dragon God. Throughout her development she transitions from a pleasure‑seeking princess into a determined and calculating political leader, ultimately succeeding in becoming the Queen of the Asura Kingdom. After ascending, she sought political alliances through marriage, first arranging for her daughter Sariel to marry Ars Greyrat, then shifting the arrangement to Rudeus’s younger son, Sieghart Saladin Greyrat, to strengthen ties between the Asura Kingdom and the Greyrat family.
