Description
Alicia Williams is the protagonist of the story and the eldest daughter of the powerful Duke Williams family in the kingdom of Durkis. She is a reincarnated individual who, at the age of seven, regains the memories of her past life on modern Earth. With this awakening, she comes to a crucial realization: she has been reborn as the villainess from an otome game she once played. In her previous existence, she harbored a strong dislike for the typical heroines of such games and felt a deep admiration for the archetype of the villainess.

Driven by this unique ambition, Alicia possesses a strong-willed, rational, and fiercely determined personality. She does not wish to be a petty or lazy antagonist; rather, her goal is to become a great villainess who will be remembered in history. For her, this means being a powerful and intelligent woman who can confront the world's realities and make difficult, pragmatic decisions, unlike the naive and idealistic heroine she disdains. She cares little for being loved or understood by the masses and is willing to be hated if it means fulfilling her self-appointed role. A notable example of her uncompromising nature is when she cuts her own hair short in solidarity with members of her faction who were bullied for cutting theirs.

Alicia's primary motivation is to defy the original game's narrative where the villainess fails due to laziness and pettiness. Instead, she dedicates herself to relentless self-improvement in magic and swordsmanship to ensure her place in history. Her role in the story is complex. She accepts a secret request from the king to act as a watchdog and rival to Liz Cather, the game's heroine, in an effort to teach the saintly but unrealistic girl about the real world. This leads to Alicia being publicly hated by those who worship Liz, though she embraces this enmity as befitting a villainess. Ironically, her actions also inspire a small, devoted faction of her own at the academy.

Throughout her journey, Alicia forms several key relationships. Her father, Arnold, is deeply worried about her psychological state and once tried to halt her path by issuing an absurd challenge, which she instead embraced. Among her brothers, most come to hate her for opposing the heroine, with the notable exception of Henry. She also captures the admiration of powerful figures, including the king who respects her counsel, and Duke Seeker who loves her and works to protect her. In the neighboring kingdom of Laval, both Prince Harist Victor and Prince Sanchez Vian are so impressed by her wisdom and strength that they desire her as their queen.

Alicia undergoes significant development and makes profound sacrifices. After her father banishes her on false charges of treason to allow her to investigate a conspiracy, she is exiled to the Laval Kingdom. There, she adopts the male persona of Lia, a blind boy, and wears an eyepatch. This eyepatch is a consequence of one of her most defining acts: using her newly acquired high-level magic at level 90 to transplant her left eye to a blind old man named Will, her grandfather, in the exile village of Loana. While others worry about her, Alicia is pleased, seeing the loss of her eye as making her a more authentic villainess.

In terms of abilities, Alicia is a prodigy with both the sword and magic. She is especially skilled with the rare and powerful dark element, which is the signature magic of her family. Her intelligence and political acumen are so sharp that even the king seeks her advice. Her natural eyesight is also noted to be exceptionally keen. Through superhuman effort, including two years of isolated training to reach level 90, she hones her innate talents to their maximum potential, completely diverging from the lazy and incompetent original character she replaced.
