Mewi is a young male Catfolk, a beastkin of the cat tribe, and a supporting character in the story. Mewi was captured by bandits and forced to use his ability to summon monsters against his will. He was rescued by Kazuhiro and Marie, after which he joined their party as a loyal companion. In terms of personality, Mewi is pure-hearted, gentle, and deeply loyal to those who have shown him kindness. Initially, his speech was polite and formal, but after spending time with Marie, who was inspired by Japanese culture, he began adding a cat-like “nya” to the end of his sentences, reflecting his affectionate and playful nature. His motivations are rooted in gratitude and a desire to stay close to the people who freed him, and he contributes to the group primarily through his magic stone abilities, which he now uses willingly for their adventures.
